In today’s globalized business environment, effective leadership of multicultural and cross-functional teams is essential for operational success, innovation, and resilience. This workshop explores the key cultural dimensions that shape teamwork, communication, and decision-making in Ukrainian and Austrian work environments. Using Erin Meyer’s The Culture Map as a framework, we will compare these two national cultures across eight critical dimensions — such as communication style, feedback, leadership, and trust-building — to identify potential areas of synergy and friction within cross-border and interdisciplinary teams.
Participants will engage in interactive discussions, real-world case studies, and reflective exercises to gain practical strategies for improving collaboration, managing conflict, and fostering mutual understanding. The workshop will be especially valuable for leaders, project managers, and HR professionals working in international settings or managing teams that span diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.
